I'm in my second group show this year!

In an exchange organized by The Sketchbook Project, 500 artists from around the world signed up to make an edition of 12 prints inspired by the theme "Let This Be A Sign…" Each participating artist then received a print from 10 different artists in exchange. Of the two remaining prints in each artist's edition, one will be on display for this exhibition, and the final print will become a permanent part of The Brooklyn Art Library's archive.

The gallery at 7 Dunham is open to the public 12-5pm on the weekend, and by appointment Monday 8/4 -Thursday 8/7. Call the number below to schedule a viewing.

If you miss the show at 7 Dunham, you can still see my print by checking it out at the Brooklyn Art Library. Their hours are 11am-7pm everyday.

My most recent work--Daphne & Apollo--was selected to show in a juried exhibition sponsored by the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop (RBPMW) and The Ink Shop Printmaking Center!

Juried by Devraj Dakoji, the show, "Downstate/Upstate," is the second installment of a collaboration between the two printshops. In 2013, works by members of the Ink Shop in Ithaca, NY were exhibited in the Robert Blackburn's New York City location, and this year prints by 51 RBPMW members are going onto the walls of the Ink Shop's gallery.

If you're in the upstate New York area, you can see the show from April 4 through April 29th. The Ink Shop galleries are open to the public Tuesday-Friday 12-6pm, and Saturday 12-4pm.

Sarah Jane of the Grünewald Guild asked some great questions and took a few snapshots of me working in the studio to kick off the Guild's new monthly artist profile series.

Residency at the Grünewald Guild
Dates of residency: September 1 - November 30

I discovered the Grünewald Guild in Leavenworth, WA purely by chance, and after a hasty application to their artist-in-residence program I was accepted for a three month residency.

My focus for this time is to build an artist’s website, work in non-print media, and plan next steps in my art career.

So here I am: living, working and creating in beautiful rural Washington State. I'll be adding images of new artwork soon. Stay posted!
